"Late 18th century, A prominent figure in the Haitian revolution, Sanité Seagrave acquired her namesake from the countless ships she felled. At the final moments of warfare, she was forced to flee on a commandeered merchant ship and made her way to England under disguise. Her story was passed ear to ear over drunken nights in the pubs and taverns of the country. Now, she has gained infamy across the county as one of the most ruthless highwaymen of the age.

Soon after, she joined a group of highwaymen as they ambushed a heavily guarded convoy belonging to the Anglican Communion. Inside, they found the decorated remains of a preserved corpse. They stripped the body of its many jewels and tossed the husk aside, cementing their fates in the process. Over time, the group discovered that they are all victims of a deep curse, with each member being affected in different ways. They must now adapt to their afflictions as they pursue the goal of ridding themselves of their hexes."
